Intervention

I can't stop making these bags. It's all I think about. It is consuming me.
If a camera crew shows up at my house and asks me to spell my name, I know I'm in trouble.

"My name is Amanda, A-M-A-N-D-A. I'm addicted to sewing."

I love Intervention. I think it's a very interesting show. But I cannot for the life of me understand how these addicts don't know they're on Intervention! The second I'm asked to spell my name I'd be like 'oh hell no!', and I'd be out. Are they paying them? They must. In my head, the addicts and junkies that don't work just sit at home and watch TV all day...surely they've stumbled upon this show? I just don't get it....

I made a new template that I like much better than the previous one. This is the first completed bag with my new hobo-ish template:

This is the second bag I'm working on. I love this pumpkin corduroy. I'm going to attempt to make a really sturdy handle with some super heavy-duty template plastic. We'll see how well that goes....

After four days off I am returning to work (*gag*). I'm also really upset because I will be missing my scheduled UPS delivery today, a signature required delivery! Upsetting.

Have a happy Wednesday :o)

I am in love with that second bag! Gorgeous.

And "Intervention"! LOLOL!!! I've been watching it this summer, because it's too hot to do anything else, and yes, I'm thinking the same thing. How can they NOT know?
