Things only started out smoothly.

At this point I got beyond frustrated and stopped taking pictures.
Tomorrow I have to take the bag apart and mend a few things and figure out how to make a better strap and how snap/latch/tie the bag shut. I give up for today.
Until then, it's a hat:

Great bag idea. I keep thinking I need to get my sewing machine out more often.
